How to Talk to a Live Person in USCIS Customer Service

If you need to talk to a live customer service representative in USCIS you need to dial 800-375-5283. After that press 1 to proceed in English and 2 to proceed in Spanish. Press *, then press 8. The system will ask you to enter 13 digit receipt number. For the first 3 letters use the number on the keypad associated with each letter. If your receipt has an asterisk use * key. Ignore all dashes and pound signs. If you do not know your receipt number just press # to get connected to a live customer representative.
